LG's new Optimus One with Google Android phone might not be the cutting-edge handset we've been waiting for, but it's pushing to be the king of the budget brigade.

The phone itself is no looker - a roundish, rubbery chassis with a 3.2-inch screen that seems dominated by a lot of bezel, as well as large, clickable buttons on the bottom show this is a departure from the fashionable nature of the Chocolate series.
But this is more about fitting the right technology, the best user experience and the correct price into one package - and that's where LG has managed to do pretty well with the Optimus One.v
